The Yerevan stage of the Armenian Youth Chess Championship kicked off

On February 14, the Yerevan stage of the Armenian Youth Chess Championship kicked off at the Chess Academy of Armenia.

The tournament is held in 7 age groups: U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, G10 and G12.

This year, around 680 chess players are participating in the tournament.

Chess players who take the following places will get the right to participate in the Armenian Youth Championship Semifinal Tournament:
U8 - 1-25 places
U10 - 1-30 places
U12 - 1-20 places
U14 - 1-18 places
U16 - 1-6 places
G10 - 1-20 places
G12 - 1-16 places
