"Grand-Open GALERIA" International Chess Tournament

From February 17 to 25, 2026, the "Grand-Open GALERIA" International Chess Tournament is being held in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

The following chess players are representing Armenia in the tournament:

In the first round, GM Levon Babujian, playing with the black pieces, defeated the top-rated player of the tournament, GM Sanan Sjugirov.
