Final stage of the Armenian Youth and Girls Chess Championship

The final stage of the Armenian Youth and Girls Chess Championship 2026, organized by the Armenian Chess Federation, is ongoing at the Chess Academy of Armenia.

In the U8 Open section, Areg Gevorgyan is the sole leader with 5.5 points out of 7. Erik Tutkhalyan and Aram Danielyan have 5 points.

In the U10 Open section, Samvel Movsisyan is the sole leader with 6 points out of 7. Hakob Petrosyan and Manvel Vardanyan have 5.5 points.

In the U12 Open section, Davit Melkonyan leads with 5.5 points out of 7. Gevorg Aghoyan, Gor Morikyan, and Ashot Avetisyan have 5 points.

In the U14 Open section, Gor Dabaghyan is the sole leader with 4.5 points out of 5. Arman Aslanyan has 3.5 points.

In the U16 Open section, Tigran Soghomonyan and Volodya Torosyan share the lead with 3.5 points out of 5.

In the U18 Open section, Rudolf Pashikyan and Vache Hovhannisyan are the leaders with 3.5 points out of 5.

In the U8 Girls section, Anzhela Markaryan is the sole leader with 4.5 points out of 5. Anahit Matevosyan and Eva Voskanyan have 4 points.

In the U10 Girls section, Sofia Bagramyan leads with 6 points out of 7. Hasmik Shmavonyan has 5.5 points.

In the U12 Girls section, Arina Minasyan is the sole leader with 6.5 points out of 7. Nare Isakhanyan and Mari Ohanyan have 6 points.

In the U14 Girls section, Angelina Mirakyan leads with 4.5 points out of 5. Natali Afiyan, Gabriela Harutyunyan, and Kristina Gharagyozyan have 4 points.

In the U16 Girls section, Mane Zhamkochyan and Sona Krkyasharyan share the lead with 4 points out of 5.

In the U18 Girls section, Ani Avetisyan, Nvard Hayrapetyan, and Polina Kobak are the leaders with 3.5 points out of 5.
