From November 23 to December 4, 2024, the Armenian Chess Federation is organizing the First League of the 85th Armenian Chess Championship.

Venue: Chess Academy of Armenia (Yerevan, Shevchenko 34).

The tournament will be held in a 12-player round-robin format.

The following chess players have the right to participate:
• The 6 highest-rated chess players according to the international rating lists of March 1 and September 1, 2024.
• 4 chess players from the semi-final tournament of the 2024 Armenian Men's Championship.
• The U18 champion of Armenia in 2024.
• One chess player by the decision of the Armenian Chess Federation (U18).

Prizes:
1st place: 250.000 AMD
2nd place: 150.000 AMD
3rd place: 100.000 AMD

The chess players who took the 1st-3rd places will get the right to participate in the highest league of the 85th Armenian Chess Championship.
