On December 28, New Year blitz chess tournament will be held at the Tigran Petrosyan Chess House-Sports School.

The tournament will be held in 9-round Swiss system, in groups A and B.

Time control: 3 minutes for the whole game with 2 seconds increment starting from move one.

Group B starts at 11:30.

Group A starts at 14:30.

Group B is open to all chess players with a national or international rating below 2100.

Group A is open to chess players with a national or international rating of 2101 and above, as well as chess players who took 1-5 places in the “B” tournament.

The following prizes are defined in the tournament:
Group A:
1st place: 50.000 AMD
2nd place: 40.000 AMD
3rd place: 30.000 AMD
4th place: 20.000 AMD
5th place: 10.000 AMD

Group B:
1st place: 20.000 AMD
2nd place: 15.000 AMD
3rd place: 10.000 AMD
4th place: 8.000 AMD
5th place: 7.000 AMD

Entry fee is 4.000 AMD. 
GM, IM, WGM and WIM free.

The registration of the participants should be done till December 27.
