The Chess Academy of Armenia is organizing an International Chess Tournament "Andranik Margaryan 16th Memorial" from 9th to 16th of January, 2026.

The tournament is a 10-player GM norm Round Robin event held in 9 rounds.

The total prize fund of the tournament is 3700 USD.
1st place - 1500 USD
2nd place - 1000 USD
3rd place - 700 USD
4th place - 500 USD

Time control: 90 minutes for the first 40 moves + 15 minutes for the whole game (with 30 seconds increment starting from move one).
