From May 25 to 31, the Armenian Chess Federation organizes the qualifying tournament for the European U20 Open Chess Championship.

Venue: Chess Academy of Armenia (Shevchenko 34).

The tournament is open to chess players born after January 1, 2006, with a national rating above 2250.

The tournament will be held using the Swiss system, in 9 rounds. In case of a low number of participants, it will be held in 7 rounds.

Time control: 1 hour 30 minutes for the entire game with a 30-second increment per move, starting from move one.

Only national ratings will be calculated in this tournament.

The player who finishes in first place will earn the right to participate, at the expense of the Armenian Chess Federation, in the European U20 Open Chess Championship, which will be held from August 5 to 16 in Montenegro.
