The second tournament dedicated to the memory of Hovhannes Danielyan has begun

From May 9 to 15, the second round-robin tournament dedicated to the memory of Hovhannes Danielyan, with an IM norm, is being held at the Chess Academy of Armenia.

Hovhannes Danielyan holds a special place in the history of Armenian chess as an grandmaster, coach, and devoted supporter of chess culture, whose name has been associated with the development of Armenian chess for many years. Those who knew Hovhannes Danielyan remember him not only as a strong grandmaster, but first and foremost as a good friend and an exceptional person. Through his attitude, human values, and dedication to chess, he earned great respect and admiration within the chess community.

The tournament features 10 chess players from different countries:
