The 84th Armenian Championship and 79th Armenian Women's Championship

The 84th Armenian Chess Championship and 79th Armenian Women's Chess Championship will take place at the Tigran Petrosyan Chess House-Sports School from January 11 to 21.

The Armenian men's and women's champions will get the right to play in the Armenian national team in 2024.

The opening ceremony will take place on January 11 at 15:00.

The first game will start on January 12 at 15:00.

GM Samvel Ter-Sahakyan, GM Manuel Petrosyan, GM Robert Hovhannisyan, GM Zaven Andriasian, GM Tigran Harutyunyan, GM Mamikon Gharibyan, IM Artur Davtyan, FM Robert Piliposyan, FM Erik Chaqryan and David Tiraturyan are participating in the men's championship.

WGM Maria Gevorgyan, WIM Susanna Gaboyan, Polina Kobak, WFM Mariam Avetisyan, WFM Arpine Grigoryan, WFM Anna Khachatryan, Milena Gasparyan, Mariam Khachatryan, Meline Harutyunyan and Alvard Stepanyan are participating in the women's championship.
