The Armenian Chess Championhips have ended

The closing ceremony of the 84th Armenian Chess Championship and 79th Armenian Women's Chess Championship will take place at the Tigran Petrosyan Chess House-Sports School today.

And so we summarize the results...

In the men's championship, GM Robert Hovhannisyan became the champion with 6 points out of 9.

GM Manuel Petrosyan, GM Zaven Andriasian and GM Samvel Ter-Sahakyan scored 5.5 points.

Manuel Petrosyan became the silver medalist.

Zaven Andriasian took the 3rd place and Samvel Ter-Sahakyan took the 4th place.

In the women's championship, WIM Susanna Gaboyan became the champion with 7.5 points.

WFM Mariam Avetisyan became the silver medalist with 7 points.

Milena Gasparyan took the 3rd place with 5.5 points.

Robert Hovhannisyan and Susanna Gaboyan received the right to play in the Armenian national team.
