Armenian chess players are among the leaders in the "Dubai Police Global Chess Challenge" tournament.

The tournament is held in 3 groups:
"Masters" (2300+ rating)
"Open" (1600-2300)

In the "Open" group, Manvel Arakelyan, Volodya Torosyan and FM Sargis Manukyan A. have 5 points out of 6 and share the 2nd-7th places.

D In the "Masters" group, GM Shant Sargsyan and GM Haik Martirosyan have 4 points and are in the 17th and 20th places, respectively.
