Ashot Nadanian and Garegin Alekyan became the Armenian champions among seniors

The Armenian Senior Rapid Chess Championship 2024 took place on November 24.

In the 50+ category, IM Ashot Nadanian, who scored 6.5 points out of 7, became the champion.

Tigran Sahakyan took the 2nd place, and Khachatur Mesropyan took the 3rd place.

In the 65+ category, Garegin Alekyan, who scored 5.5 points out of 7, became the champion.

Garik Khachatryan took the 2nd place, and Andranik Abrahamyan took the 3rd place.
