Arsen Davtyan becomes the European U18 chess champion

The European Youth Chess Championship 2023 was held in Mamaia, Romania from September 5 to 14.

17-year-old Armenian chess player Arsen Davtyan won a gold medal in the Open 18 section.

After losing in the first round, Arsen won 8 games in a row, scoring 8 points out of 9.

Within the framework of the championship, Arsen also fulfilled the IM norm. He fulfilled the norm for the third time.
