Yurik Avetisyan has passed away

We are deeply saddened to inform you that Yurik Avetisyan, multiple champion of the Armenian Chess Championship for the Blind and a member of the Armenian Chess Federation’s Commission for Persons with Disabilities, has passed away at the age of 74.

The memorial service will take place on June 15, from 17:00, at the “LuAr” funeral hall, located at 18 Silikyan Street (near the Shahumyan Cemetery).

The funeral will be held at the same location on June 16, at 13:00.

The entire staff of the Armenian Chess Federation extends its heartfelt condolences to his family, relatives, and colleagues.
