The FIDE World Youth Chess Championship is coming to a close

There are three rounds remaining at the FIDE World Youth Chess Championship.

In the Open U14 category, FM Manvel Arakelyan has 6 points out of 8 and is in 5th place. In the same category, FM Tyhran Ambartsumian has 5.5 points and Tigran Soghomonyan has 4.5 points.

In the Open U18 category, FM Rudolf Pashikyan has 5.5 points and shares 7th–15th places. In the same category, FM Vahe Sukhiasyan and IM Robert Piliposyan have 5 points.

In the Open U16 category, FM Vache Hovakimyan has 5.5 points.

In the Girls U18 category, Nvard Hayrapetyan has 5 points.

In the Girls U16 category, Anahit Mkrtchyan has 5 points and Ani Avetisyan has 4.5 points.

In the Girls U14 category, Gabriela Harutyunyan has 4 points.

The 9th round will start on October 13 at 17:00 Armenian time.
