Karen Asrian Memorial International Chess Tournament

From November 27 to 30, 2025, the Karen Asrian Memorial Chess Tournament, organized by the Armenian Chess Federation, will be held at the Tigran Petrosyan Chess House-Sports School (Yerevan, Khanjyan 50).

GM Shamsiddin Vokhidov (Uzbekistan)
GM Hovhannes Gabuzyan (Armenia)

The opening ceremony of the tournament will take place on November 27 at 14:00. The first round will start on November 27 at 15:00.

The event will feature both Rapid and Blitz tournaments.

Prizes will be awarded based on the players overall combined performance in both Rapid and Blitz events:
2 points for a win, 1 point for a draw and 0 points for a loss in a Rapid game
1 point for a win, 0.5 point for a draw and 0 points for a loss in a Blitz game.
