The Armenian Senior Rapid Chess Championship is concluded

On November 4, the Armenian Senior Rapid Chess Championship 2023 took place.

The championship was held in two age categories: 50+ and 65+.

In the 50+ category, Sargis Melkonyan, who scored 6 points out of 7, became the champion.

Second place was taken by Vladimir Pogosian, who scored 5 points.

Feliks Beknazaryan also scored 5 points and finished in the top three.

In the 65+ category, Roman Akopov, who scored 6.5 points out of 7, became the champion.

Second place was taken by Andranik Abrahamyan, who scored 6 points.

Garik Khachatrian scored 5.5 points and finished in the top three. Haik Dolmazian also scored 5.5 points, but took 4th place with tie-breaks.
