Rafael Vaganian took the 6th place in the World Senior Chess Championship 2023

The World Senior Chess Championship 2023 is concluded.

In the 65+ category, GM Rafael Vaganian scored 8 points out of 11 and shared the 3rd-7th places, taking the 6th place with tie-breaks.

In the 50+ category, GM Artashes Minasian scored 7 points and took 14th place, IM Ashot Nadanian scored 6.5 points and took 21st place.

In the 50+ category, English GM Michael Adams became the champion with 8.5 points. In the 65+ category, English GM John Nunn became the champion, who also scored 8.5 points.
