Chess Academy of Armenia together with "Royale Signature" LLC and the Chess Academy Club, is
organizing "Tsaghkadzor Open" International Chess Tournament from September 30 (arrival) to October 6 (departure), at "Eighty Eight Hotel and Spa" in Tsaghkadzor (Tandzaghbyur 34/1, Kotayk region,
RA).

"Tsaghkadzor Open" will host two different events accordingly: A Tournament and B Tournament.

A Group Tournament is open to players with 2000 and above FIDE rating.
* The tournament organizer may allow a restricted number of young chess players with international rating below 2000 with additional fee.

B Group Tournament is open to players with below 2000 FIDE rating and limited number of unrated
players.

The tournaments will be held in 9-round Swiss system in accordance with FIDE Laws of Chess.

Time control:
A Group Tournament: 90 minutes for the first 40 moves, plus 15 minutes till the end of the game with 30
seconds increment starting from move one.
B Group Tournament: 90 minutes for the whole game with 30 seconds increment starting from move one. 

The total prize fund of the two tournaments is 8 000 000 AMD.
